Inflammation of of muscles, known as "muskulfiber", manifests
as a feeling of pain in the muscles that were active during
the training or other stronger physical effort about one or
two days after its completion.
Besides the pain, it is manifested as tension and stiffness
of the concerned muscles, which makes the movement difficult.
This is often viewed as something negative, but it is just
the opposite, it is completely normal when the muscles are
subjected to a strong and long-term effort. This type of
inflammation is of acute type and lasts for about 48 to 72
hours after the activity.
On the other hand, there is a chronic, long-term inflammation
which may spread to other organ systems and thus represents a
serious health problem. Massages relax the affected muscles,
stimulate circulation, which speeds the recovery and returnes
the muscles affected by inflammation in "normality".
